The only community theatre on Broadway!

Mickey has served as producer, director, musical director, or actor in numerous theatrical productions in his career. His credits include Titanic, Oklahoma, My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, Hello Dolly, Camelot, The Odd Couple, The Music Man, Godspell, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Brigadoon, Forever Plaid, Footloose, A Christmas Story, Hairspray, The Sound of Music, A Christmas Carol, and 1776. He has received five AriZoni Awards for musical direction, and one for best actor in a musical playing Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. Mickey holds degrees in music education, church music, and conducting. He is also the pastor of Centerstage Church in Apache Junction. He lives in Mesa with his wonderful wife, Ellen.

Mickey invites folks to stop by for a visit at Zao Theatre/Centerstage Church. He generally has a project or two in the works and is always looking for willing hands to help out. Mickey is not only Zao's artistic director, producer, and performance director, he is also the stage designer, construction and painting crew, lighting designer, and everyone's "go to" guy. Couple that with his senior pastor position at Centerstage Church and it's easy to understand that he knows the value of volunteers.
