With the recent Executive Order by Governor Ducey relaxing covid restrictions on businesses and with the vaccines widely available, we will be transitioning from our current COVID restrictions to less restrictive conduct. Beginning on Monday, April 19th our seating capacity will increase with less distancing between seats. 


Masks: Will still be required for audiences temporarily with the goal of removing that restriction by mid-summer.  If you left home without yours, we will be happy to provide one for you.

     Note: The actors will not be wearing masks during the performance.


Limited audience seating: Seating will be at approximately 75% of capacity. View seating chart.


Entering the theatre: Lobby doors will be open 30 minutes before show time. The theatre will be open when you arrive so patrons may go directly to their seats. Please do not linger in the lobby.


Digital Tickets: Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets online and print them at home whenever possible.


Digital Programs: Show programs will be available on our website in a format that can be viewed on personal cellular devices.


Exiting the theatre: The traditional cast "meet & greet" has been suspended until current conditions improve. As you leave the theatre, please move directly through the lobby and out the main doors. You may arrange to speak with members of the cast outside by the gate, but, please, remember not to block the walkway so others may comfortably leave the area.


Hand Sanitizing Stations: will be available throughout the lobby and theatre.


Enhanced Sanitization: Conintued care will be given to cleaning and sanitizing the public areas. 


Concessions: will be provided at the rear of the theatre prior to the show and at intermission. Please observe the recommended distancing while in line.


Zao Theatre will be monitoring all health authority directives to ensure we are doing everything possible to maintain a safe environment for our patrons. We encourage every member of our community to consider their own health and safety before making the decision to attend a performance. If, on the day of the show for which you purchased a ticket, you are exhibiting any signs of illness, we ask that you stay home.


WHAT IF I AM SICK ON SHOW DAY?


While Zao Theatre's standard no refund ticketing policy will apply, if you are unable to attend due to illness, or immediate health concern pertaining to COVID-19, Zao will provide other options for our patrons:

     - placing the value of your ticket on account for use toward a different show later in our current         season or next season;
     - you can choose to donate your ticket to someone else for use in the same show;
     - tickets may be donated back to the theater as a charitable contribution.


Should this situation arise, please contact the Zao Theatre box office team at least four hours prior to show time listed on your ticket. Our team will work hard to ensure we offer every possible option, but please be advised that our standard refund policy is still in effect.
